ok, I tried without the tag cover embedded...nothing changed
it seems to be in LMS program, i mean, because, as i said, if i use
another player, like foobar, vlc or even groove, to play locally, it
doesn't happen, my cpu has a limited increment, but not to the 20% it
has with LMS as player

If your app doesn't show the cover art in the folder you are using the
WRONG app...

Do you need to have the artwork in the tags? If not, I believe it will
also speed up scans to only use cover.jpg files for cover art. LMS has
to do a lot more work to catalog all of those individual images during a
scan.
You might try removing the artwork tags from one or two albums (you can

comes on, which is alerting him to the fact that CPU load is unusually

I wouldn't consider 17-19% load "high". That period most likely is the
time LMS takes to buffer your track or something.

So, is LMS pulling the embedded cover from the audio file and resizing
it every time a song is played? Why wouldn't any necessary images have
been resized and cached during a scan?
If that's the case, removing the embedded images should improve CPU
usage on the server.
