Sorry for the late reply. I had not tried. I see you've already done
some commits, so I presume you've corrected the issue.
My ReadyNAS 102 is running LMS 1.0.6 by Poussin(?), how do I upgrade
this to LMS 7.9.1??
I've attached a screenshot of the NAS info...

But I'm still a bit confused. Do I just find the name references and
delete those lines from the file.
for example (from posting above) I would just delete any of these lines
then save file. Program will then auto generate

This works better to get the Poussin add-on I mentioned
(lms_1.0.9_all.deb) :
Thanks for all the info but I must confess to being somewhat confused by
all this stuff as you've laid it out...

My desktop developed some issues. It had been running ubuntu 16.10 and
logitechmediaserver with now problems. I had to reinstall the os so I
figured I'd move to 17.10.
IDownloaded the .deb file
logitechmediaserver_7.8.1_1487060116_all.deb
did
sudo dpkg -i
Maybe this will help:
I own an old ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition with 3GB RAM. I recently did
an upgrade and put in 3 x 4TB drives. An unsupported upgrade to the
latest ReadyNAS OS 6 firmware was recommended to me. I did the upgrade.
LMS still runs but the install has an extra step. I manually

Worked with 7.9.1. Anyone trying to install on ubuntu 17.10 I'd advise
you do that to start. :)
sb touch -> classdaudio sds-450 -> audio physic tempo 4 + rel storm 3 &
rythmik f12se
Can the 7.9.1 be installed over the 7.9.0?
2 Duets controllers, 1 X Boom, 1 X Radio
1 X Receiver + Audioengine A5
1 X Receiver + Yamaha RX-A2000, Polk M70
1 X Receiver + Boston MicroSystem CD
Raspberry Pi 2 B, HiFiBerry Dac+ & Max2play
Nexus 7 w/ Squeeze Ctrl
ReadyNAS 516 LMS 7.9
Can you reproduce any of these reports? I can't...

Yeah, I was eventually able to reproduce the issues: Safari would
silently suppress them. Chrome at least told me

I think you'd best ask Poussin himself.

thanks for reply,
Hi all:
I have a Banana pie NAS which running OMV on it.
just met some problem when I tried to install LMS on it.
I tried several times but get the same result.
the error message as following, I'd be appreciated if anyone can help me
to fix it.
root@openmediavault:~# dpkg -i
I have a Banana pie NAS which running OMV on it.
LMS doesn't come with support for this platform built in. You'd have to
build the binary modules yourself.

thanks for reply, actually I have no idea how to build a binary module.
is that easy ?
I don't know OMV nor the Banana Pi... assuming this was some Debian
based system you might get away installing some build tools and running
that buildme script.
