Thanks to all for the quick help...re-setting back to default did the

interface...

The browser points to http://127.0.0.1:9000/ and the entire interface

This is the search:
Code:

Is that Jessie or Wheezy?
Why not do yourself a favour and get a new card (say 16gb) and install
the latest Raspbian Stretch.
If you have a good paper round, you can save and also get a rpi3B+.
Then use the rpi2 with pCP as a player.
Just a thought :)
Click on Server Settings/Interface
and choose Classic and then scroll to the bottom to apply the change

You might give 7.9.2 another try. Without more information about your
system I have to assume that your Perl is more recent than what 7.9.1
supports.

You don't say which OS you are running on the pi.

an esteemed member here once told me that

I was wondering about this also. My RPI is some years old so I would
suspect it should be a 32bit. But I read that newer ones run 32bit
Software on 64
Oh, went back to your initial post. It did work, and you did not upgrade
the OS since?
Maybe your powering on/off wasn't always proper and you killed your
prefs file? Move it to a safe place and start over. Would that work? If
so, investigate your prefs file.
And run fsck anyway.

I guess you configured LMS to only search at the beginning of words, but
not in words. Thus only "lastname, firstname" would not match, as it's
looking for "lastname ,firstname" (see the space?). You'd have to tell
LMS to search in words, too (Settings/My Music).

I was working on a Jivelite applet that needed the group player icon, so
I copied it from what's displayed by LMS under 'Settings' > 'Player' >
'Basic Settings'.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually went to a different vendor
(Qobuz.com) and downloaded the WAVs from them. Works fine!

That's interesting. I see the Softsqueeze icon when I look at Basic

I recently moved my LMS server from a 2011 Mac mini to a 2018 Mac mini.
Everything moved over successfully, except I can't play mp3 files over
AirPlay Bridge to my Apple TV and Home Pod,
I recall mucking about years ago with getting LAME installed, and found

Where in LMS would you get that icon? My LMS is showing me the same as
SqueezePlay/JiveLite.
