I removed the preference and installed it again. LMS still doesn't work, and the "Stop Server" button still doesn't stop the server. Ok, next step: there are various folders keeping your LMS data. But without access to the web UI this isn't trivial... But what makes me wonder is why the button in the preferences would not work. it's running the exact command I gave you to try from the command line. Those messages tell us that LMS actually is starting, but that the web UI doesn't respond. Do you have any network related tools installed?
