Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Squeezebox Radio and Google WiFi Mesh dropping connection
I pulled out my Touch recently and it would not hold a wireless connection on my Orbi network. A few days ago, I deleted the EDO plug in from the Touch (don't need it anymore) and updated to the latest Orbi FW. My Touch has been solid on wifi for the past 48+ hours. FWIW - be sure you are running the latest Orbi FW, and ditch EDO if you don't need it. ismarketing's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30585 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112500 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Set up one yesterday, and connection maintained on SB Radio via ethernet for over 12 hrs, so I'll call this a success. I'll get more VAP11G-300 for my other Radios, and hopefully there's not an issue with multiple VAP11G-300's (Wish I could get the SB Radio wireless working though) Things of note: Setup of VAP11G-300 is simple, but instructions could be better. No need for a 'hotspot', so disable on the VAP11G-300. Lights are BRIGHT. Can't just tape over, as it will block the vents, and anyway, the lights still bleed through the case Need to pop open the VAP11G-300 case (easy, it's just press fit), and place a small bit of electric tape over the LED's on the VAP11G-300 board. I stand defeated. Tried everything I could think of, suggested on this forum, and exhausted google. After 15 minutes of so of non-activity, my 4 SB Radio disconnects from WiFi (but not my Touch, go figure), But if playing, I sometimes get an hour or more before it disconnects.
