Thanks, it does indeed appear to be a DNS issue; from reading apparently
the Squeezebox is a bit less tolerant to slow/flaky DNS than other
devices.

How does the player connect to MySqueezebox.com? Is there any way I can
easily troubleshoot this?
Start with checking your network settings. In particular the DNS your
router is giving to the player.
