Hello all,
I have a strange problem with a SQUID proxy with the NTLM
authentication. It randomly restarts the authenticator processes
(restart maybe not the right term), as follows:

The word is "Squid", it is a name not an acronym.

Dear Squid users
I need to add response header to every response in squid.
There is no reply_header_add configuration directive, so I assume that
modifying the source code is the only way to do this.
Does anybody know where exactly in the source code I should do it?
Thank you,
Anton Tkachev.

In the cache.log. But you need to configure the helper to emit debug
info before it will show up most times.

Hi,
We are currently using squid-3.1.10 as an internal proxy
server. It sends requests to 3 external proxies which interact with the
world wide web.
I was just wondering if there is a support for sticky sessions in squid ,
so that we can send a set of continual requests to a spec

Hi Amos
We need some kind of communication between Squid and the client (browser
extension).
The idea is to add resonse header to all responses in the source code and
then control it using reply_header_access.

Hey all,
I'm currently running Squid Cache: Version 3.HEAD-BZR. I was wondering
what the status was of this...if there have been later releases with
improvements. Thank you.

Oh, in that regards no there
Hey James
Please report back on how you go with it. An example of your configuration
would be awesome, if you get Peek & Splice happening.
Cheers!

Hi guys,
I’ve been using Squid as a proxy cache. In my specific case, I need to set
cache expiry time to 10 seconds. I tried refresh_pattern, but I found
refresh_pattern only supports setting expiry time in minute unites.
E.g.refresh_pattern ^http: 1 0% 1 override-expire

Thanks for the quick response. In my specific case, I want the http responses
to be valid in the cache for a constant time period, I know it violate http
standard though.
Nginx supports setting caching time by "proxy_cache_valid 200 10s”, is there
similar approaches in Squid?
