Hi All,
I have successfully got wb_group installed and running on my Squid2.5-STABLE1 install.
I am having a problem with NT domains that have a space in them (Domain Users).
I downloaded the squid-2.5.STABLE1-spaces.patch file and it appears to have applied

Hello All,

All,
I have only recently been using Linux and Squid (about 5-6weeks Linux , 4
weeks squid ). 3 weeks ago or so I asked about forcing an initial policy
page prior to proxy auth request. The responses are at the bottom of this
very long explanation, but they essentially meant I would have to move

Hi ,
I have a same problem . Thanks edward for mentioning router config . I
am using wccp 1.0 method for intercepting web request to the squid box
and I have to store that the sattelite Ip of the squid should not
redirect to the squid box again . That's solved the problem .

I have noticed a problem that I cannot seem to fix. Using password

that don't seem to get passed thru squid properly. Length is not the issue,

Seems your redirector did not rewrite the URL.
Quick chec... nope. If given http://squid.xyz.com/james/ your redirector
gives the exact same URL back..

I'm trying to log userids from users on a linux terminal server on our squid

use the --disable-ident-lookups flag on configure. However, including the
following in my squid.conf does not provide the expected results:
Here is what my ident ACL looks like at home and it logs usernames
acl users ident mark amanda administrator root
http_access allow users
http_access deny !users

If it is a third-party helper not whipped with Squid then it probably
needs to be updated to url-decode the arguments..
See the Squid-2.5 release notes.
