What URLs? ACLs? What error do you get? Without information, no one can

I've been perusing both google and the mail-archive search, but can't seem

Incoming headers don't seem to be a problem, but basically I want it so that

Hi!
I have a small authentication problem using squid-2.5.10_2 and
samba-3.0.14a,1.
Users at the Domain Controller (Win2K-Server) are in different groups:
Manager, Administrators and Internetusers.
Managers and Administrators should have access to all Sites, normal
Internetusers to all sites

I thought the start time must be less than the end time?

Hi List
Thank to Emilio Casbas
I was able to get this far.
acl msnmessenger1 req_mime_type ^application/x-msn-messenger$
acl msnmessenger rep_mime_type ^application/x-msn-messenger$
#acl restrict time MTWHF 18:00-08:00
acl restrict time MTWHF 11:00-13:00
http_access allow msnmessenger

I just don't get it. I have acl's defined, and I can see it checking
them, in the cache.log. However, it seems it is hosing up on the IP
check. Always seems to be checking 127.0.0.1 instead of the actual
connection's IP.
Yes, only when using WPAD.
Although some of the proxy.pa requests did make it to the webserver, the
majority of those requests required me to
actually sniff the machines manually to find them.
I wonder if they resolved the issue in a relatively recent service pack
or something similiar.

I should've clarified that.
We used the DNS records for AutoDiscovery.
I'm not sure if that matters, but we didn't use DHCP.

Completely the opposite for us.
At the time of testing, XP was the only machine that seemed to work
consistently.
We only had a couple XP machines at that time.

Same here! I'm running Squid Cache: Version 2.5.STABLE6 on a Mac OSX

Hi !!
We are using ntlm authentication here, and some http_access rules
denying access to some sites.
The problem we are facing is that when a user hits a rule that denies
access, squid falls back to basic authentication and prompts the user
for a new username and password.
How can we configure

We considered changing the value of Max_Challeng_Reuse from 0 to some
higher value, in order to decrease the load on the domain controllers
