Hello, I have got one simple question regarding the cache manager value for Number of clients accessing cache: Which period is measured by this value? I can't find it anywhere in the docs... I figure it to be the number of clients within the last 60 minutes. Anyone who can tell for sure?

Hello World! Maybe it's a fool question, but anyway I'd like to know if it's possible to make Squid not to change ip at all? Any tricks, patches or hacks? Or is it completely impossible. I'd like to use it in transparent mode and moreover to make client ips unchangeable. So everywhere

Yes: -FDon't serve any requests until store is rebuilt. My guess is that squid is trying to rebuild the store, but is too busy servicing requests. If that doesn't work, you can manually clear the cache, the store file and have squid rebuild the cache hierarchy (squid -z). Tim Rainier

Can you try reducing your cache_mem value and observe it for some time. I am also running ES with squid 2.5-10 stable. I increased cache_mem value And my squid started giving me trouble. Now I m using only 512 MB , earlier I was using 700 MB. My total memory in server is 2 gig Thanks - lk

Done that too. Allowed squid -z to rebuild and it will still die with in hours. Removed deleted all cache files and directories. I'll do that too and see what happens. Why it dies while rebuilding storage. Your cache is also looking dirty. Can you delete all file and start caching again?
