Patching for this hasn't been required for many many years. And since
several years back there is

I'd like to create a chain of icap servers queried by one squid client but I
was not able do to it.
From some messages dated back to 2002 I understand that at that time (icap
branching of squid 2) configurations commands were able to specify more than

Hi All,
I've downloaded the 2.6x 12 version and installed it in my 2000 server
machine which is also my ADS server. In my client machines internet exploer,
i've this proxy info and when i access my application through IP it was working
fine.
But when i access the same application by
Hello,
i have a squid server running on debian 4 and
i have two differents gateway to go on the internet.
i would like to create two access list on squid
and tell squid to use for one acl gateway_A and for the
second acl the gateway_B.
ex :
acl lan1 src 192.168.0.0/24 -- use gw 192.168.0.1
This is unfortunately not a squid or any application issue. You see the
routing is done by the kernel and
as of yet there is no way that you can tell the kernel to use GW-1 with
the acl. In my experience it is
better to have 2 machines with a fail over mechanism sharing an ip
address via vrrp

Hello,
Trying to authenticate via Novell eDirectory in an environment where we
have multiple o's in the LDAP structure.
Problem is, we can multiple occurrences of a username in the LDAP

DN they are going to use at login

I'm not sure if this directive is new to 2.6, but here

That looks interesting, but right now we are behind a loadbalancer and
the IP address of the loadbalancer is what shows up on the proxy. I
will experiment with this though. I think that the problem that we
are having isn't squid. When it occurred today. The NTLM stats in

We have squid proxy installed in our institute and after a
