I want to control the bandwidth of my network by limiting the download size
of a group of users at different times of a day. I googled and I found
SQUISH that can do this. Anyone have tested this tools before? I sent an
email to it's developers but there is no answer yet :-/ Is this

Sorry I did google it but lost this.
It seems squish is a web application that is based on Squid.
So I think squid itself will most probably implement the jobs asked by
the OP well.

This question is better answered by the Samba users group: Squid uses
the services of Samba for this task.

size. Any way to do this with squid and it's addons? any other way/tool?

hardware. You may just need to find / organise a backport of the
particular hardware support for your platform. I've been working on
profiling Lusca with pmcstat and some new-ish tools which use and
