Hi There
Sound like the MTU
I'm running Squid 2.5.5-2 on Debian.
My problem is that with www.driverguide.com and others, the browser freezes
while downloading the login page, It keeps me waiting. If I don't use the
proxy server, the page appears immediately. ¿ Is this problem related to
the MTU configuration of the interface
Hi all,
Only I have log files for three days, ¿ why ?
I want to have logs for about 60 days ago.
-rw-r- 1 proxy proxy 334737 Apr 29 10:04 access.log
-rw-r- 1 proxy proxy 2429270 Apr 28 20:27 access.log.1
-rw-r- 1 proxy proxy 225187 Apr 27 21:17 access.log.2.gz
Thanks.

Subject: [squid-users] wb_group issues
Hi,
for sure I am not the only one having this problem and maybe it a rtfm-thing,
but i wasn't able to find it and I searched
debian:/usr/local/squid/etc# /etc/init.d/squid start
Starting proxy server: FATAL: Bungled squid.conf line 1798: acl internetfull
external /usr/local/squid/libexec/wbinfo_group.pl -i /usr/local/squid/etc/internetfull
Squid Cache (Version 2.5.STABLE5): Terminated abnormally.
CPU Usage: 0.010
I fix that problem adding the next line:
external_acl_type wbinfo_group ttl=0 concurrency=5 %LOGIN
/usr/local/squid/libexec/wbinfo_group.pl
and modifying the acl lines.
Thanks.

I've configured external ACL's:
external_acl_type wbinfo_group ttl=0 concurrency=5 %LOGIN
/usr/local/squid/libexec/wbinfo_group.pl
acl usuarios proxy_auth REQUIRED
acl internetfull external wbinfo_group -i /usr/local/squid/etc/internetfull
acl internetayp external wbinfo_group -i
-1237804090-512 Domain Group (2)-
GID: -10001-
Sending OK to squid
OK

/usr/local/squid/etc/internetfull is a file that contains a line Domain
InternetFull wich is the name of the NT Group in the domain, ¿ is this
OK ?
Thanks.
What is /usr/local/squid/etc/internetfull?

Henrik
I have already configured Winbind and Squid for NTLM and basic authentication.
Now, I want to add external ACLs, but I'm not sure, ¿ what helper must I
use ?
¿ Is wb_group for Samba 2.x.x ?
¿ Is wbinfo_group for Samba 3.0.2 ? If so, this file doesn't exist. ¿ Must
I have to compile Squid ? ¿
¿ What is the minimal version of squid to use external ACLs ?
I have squid 2.4.6-2 on Debian Woody
Another question:
¿ Must I have installed the samba package to use the winbind package ?
Thanks.

I have squid 2.4.6
I'm using smb_auth for authentication against Windows NT domain, but I want
to use NTLM and basic authentication with the advantage of smb_auth, this
means, admnister who browse internet or not from the NT domain, managing
NT groups for accesing de squid resource.
¿ Is this posible ?
Thanks.
then the squid process is doing it, if it is root then either
a
cronjob or another root user ?

My access.log files rotate randomly, not once a day, not once a week, not
once a month, so, cron isn´t rotating my access.log files. ¿ who is rotating
my access.log files ? I want to rotate them manually after I run SARG.
newsyslog and linux uses logrotate.
Depending
on where you log files are kept it could be one of these ?
If it is not squid ?

I do it manually from command line, but nothing happens, my access.log file
is the same.
Thanks.
