[squid-users] How to update to 3.0.16 and install squid ?

I had squid 3.0.14 (with one bug that make restart squid constantly), i make deinstall and after that how i update the squid port in freebsd to version 3.0.16 for installing squid in this version ? Jorge.

[squid-users] Squid 3 does not stop

I recently have installed squid 3.0 in a freebsd 7.2 box. When i type in ssh (with su) squid -k shutdown or /usr/local/sbin/squid -k shutdown this error appear and squid does not shutdown. squid: ERROR: Could not send signal 15 to process 1001: (1) Operation not permitted Any idea ?

I have a squid1 transparent that´s using as parent to squid2 (not transparent) I have a router limiting bw. to 256kbit (between router and squid1, the gateway) and is using as gateway to squid1, i want that if internet content come from squid2 (not transparent and used as parent for squid1)
