Change the order of the http_access statements:
http_access deny concurrent_browsing
http_access deny !password all
Then restart squid and test again.

You have to perform squidGuard -C all once. This builds the database for
squidguard. Dont perform squidGuard -C all before every starting of squid!
You should repeat squidGuard -C all rebuilding the database if the your
blacklist changes.

What is the version of you squid?
Can you reproduce this problem?
Using Version 2.5.STABLE13 I entered into IE the URL www,ppll.de.
Cache.log shows
2006/07/26 09:53:23| urlParse: Illegal character in hostname
'www,ppll.de'
Squid does not restart. Squid sends to the IE browser
Define the location of the pre-built databas in the configuration file of
squidguard.
Example:
destination porn {
domainlistporn/domains
urllist porn/urls
expressionlistporn/expressions
log porn.log
}

Use the linux command
tail -f access.log | program

Hi Henrik,
in aclMatchRegex, add just before the return 1; line
debug(28, 2) (aclMatchRegex: match '%s' found in
'%s'\n, data-pattern, word);
and enable debug section 28 level 2.
why dont you insert this one line of code into the official squid source? I
think many users would be very
No, it does not work without an ou-part (what I had tried before):
/usr/local/squid/libexec/squid_ldap_auth \
-h ldapserver \
-D cn=adminaccount,ou=Service
Accounts,ou=_SiteMgmt,ou=BNN,ou=DE,dc=emea,dc=company,dc=com \
-w topsecret \
-b
squid_ldap_auth (of Squid 2.5 Stable 12) works fine with this script:
/usr/local/squid/libexec/squid_ldap_auth \
-h ldapserver \
-D cn=adminaccount,ou=Service
Accounts,ou=_SiteMgmt,ou=BNN,ou=DE,dc=emea,dc=company,dc=com \
-w topsecret \
-b ou=DE,dc=emea,company,dc=com \
squid_ldap_group works for me for a flat group containing usernames:
/usr/local/squid/libexec/squid_ldap_group \
-h ldapserver \
-D cn=ldap-administrator,ou=Service
Accounts,ou=_SiteMgmt,ou=XY,ou=DE,dc=emea,dc=zf-world,dc=com \
-W /usr/local/pw-admin \
-b
What does
nslookup http://-kol.deviantart.com/
tell you?

Thanks für your hint, but it does not work:

Suqid and squidguard work fine for me.
There are 2 scripts:
/sbin/init.d/squid (yep, OS is Tru64):
case $1 in
'start')
echo Starting SQUID ...
nohup /sbin/init.d/squid_start
;;
snip
and /sbin/init.d/squid_start:
#!/bin/sh
su - squid -c
There are problems configuring LDAP and Squid 2.5 Stable 12.
Environment:
Hardware: COMPAQ Professional Workstation XP1000

configure step runs without any problems:
./configure --enable-auth=ntlm,basic \

A simple and effective pattern is
url_regex http://[^/]\.[0.9]+(/|$)

you to match these in
I suggest trying
cd /squid(directory where your cache-dir is located)
chmod -R 777 *
If this works you have to doublecheck your file permnissions.

While squid is unreachable maybe the system writes a core file to the disk?
Please search for core files:
Login as root
cd /
find . -name core -print
The find command may run some minutes depending of the size of your disks.

Thanks for support.
I suppose WARNING: Disk space over limit come from the
fact that squid restart by itself and so corrupt is cache.
But I don't know why every time it use more space than I allow it.
I think this warning says that one of your disks is full. Check your disk space
with df
Please observe the disk space with df -k in the time when squid is
unreachable. Does some value in the column Use% grow over 70 % ?

Here are results:

Please repeat that again.
(1) stop squid
(2) find out wht are the cache directories squid uses, for example
# grep cache_dir squid.conf
cache_dir ufs /data1/squid_cache 6000 32 512
cache_dir ufs /data2/squid_cache 1 32 512

Contrary to the documentation, SquidGuard 1.2.0 requires
Berkeley DB 3.2.9 to function correctly.
I would ensure firstly that that is the version you have installed.
You can check this by executing squidGuard -v
which should return:
