It is very nice to use wget but there are couple options that needs to
be consider.
Just to help you if was not there until now add: --delete-after
to the wget command line.

I’m using these configurations which work fine with squid 3.1 every items
gets HIT. However these configurations don’t work properly with Squid 3.2
and 3.3, because I always get MISS with all items
