Hi,
We use squid as LB for HTTP Traffic (by defining cache-peers),
It works quite well when we have a connectivity failure between squid
and one of the application servers so then it will try next possible
cache-peer
Our cache-peer are defined with round-robin:

Thanks Amos - but trying to find the library name, can't seem to google
anything on libber? Can't figure it out from the 'configure' script either. Any
hint?
Sorry, lber as in liblber.a usually.
It should be provided by the OS or by the LDAP

Where in cachemgr do you see this message?
Store Directory Stats
storedir report (Store Directory Stats) lists the maximum size for the
particular cache_dir, which may be unset/unlimited.

It appears there were no issues with squid per se.
I don't know what it is, but squidguard is using blacklist 7 db's. I
had noticed that one of the db's were filtering based on the text
domain file content. After recreating the .db files, the filtering
worked and mms streaming also worked. I
I attempted to add persistent_request_timeout 6 minutes, but that
did not achieve the desired effect.
That makes Squid wait at most 6 minutes for a new request after the
first completed, closing the connection if no new request is seen.
It does not terminate anything.
