[squid-users] acls for deny facebook to one ip.

Hi, i´m a basic (basic basic as gwbasic) configurator of squid, and I need to deny facebook to some users on my network. I think deny1.txt (content) .facebook.com .fbcdn.net acl denied1 dstdomain “/usr/local/etc/squid/deny1.txt” how I apply this to only one ip ? (for example 192.168.5.60)

I have 2 two parents for my main squid (Freebsd). I want to load balancing to each one parent the par ip (odd) and the impar ip (even). Ex. acl pares src 192.168.0.10, 192.168.0.12, 192.168.0.14, 192.168.0.16 … 192.168.0.254 acl impares src 192.168.0.11, 192.168.0.13, 192.168.0.15, 192.168.0.17

Hi people, i had a few freebsd boxes with squid in some companies. I´m running in all squid 2.7 in transparent mode with ipfw fwd the port 80. I see in this last months the servers are saving less and less bandwidth. Checking squid configuration and cache directories all seems to be fine.

I´m trying to install squid 2.7.9 in a fresh new freebsd 10 amd64 and make install show this error. Any idea? (i´m not finding in the net the solution...) Try to set MAKE_JOBS_UNSAFE=yes and rebuild before reporting the failure to the maintainer.

[squid-users] Transparent and parent not transparent.

I have a squid1 transparent that´s using as parent to squid2 (not transparent) I have a router limiting bw. to 256kbit (between router and squid1, the gateway) and is using as gateway to squid1, i want that if internet content come from squid2 (not transparent and used as parent for squid1)
