Dusk Beat Circus, a newly formed circus troupe consisting of world class variety performers, announces the upcoming San Francisco premiere of UMBRAon March 17th, 8pm at CELLspace following on the heels of the world premiere before a sold-out house in Santa Cruz. Umbra, evoking shadow and texture, is a journey into the world of creatures and characters existing in the twilight realm underneath the halo of city streetlights. Combining circus, theatre and urban music, Umbra speaks to the hidden life of abandoned objects and forgotten places. The 2 hour show showcases exciting and eccentric performances including arial straps, slackrope unicycling, tumbling, artistic bicycle, juggling, magic, and martial arts.
