Hello, the usual note that preparing the release of Kamailio v5.5.6 starts soon, therefore any commits to branch 5.5 should be announced first on sr-dev mailing list and wait for the ack before pushing to repo. Once the announcement is out, commits can go in the branch directly. Cheers, Daniel O

Hello, I could smell it from Mars :-) ! SIP endpoint is bound to contact address, not to a transport layer connection. For example, if you have a SIP edge proxy (SBC) in front of SIP registrar server, between edge proxy and registrar is usually one (trunk) connection and all registrations coming

That’s exactly what’s happening, AWS reuses the ip:port source. I understand it was very unlikely the ip:port would be reused, but nowadays kamailio is more and more used on the cloud with a load balancer in front. Regards David On Wed, 1 Mar 2023 at 14:40, David Villasmil wrote: > Hello Dan

Hello Daniel, Yep sir; there an AWS load-balancer. But regardless, shouldn’t the mapping get cleared immediately? Thanks David On Wed, 1 Mar 2023 at 11:28, Daniel-Constantin Mierla wrote: > Hello, > > are the endpoints connecting directly to Kamailio, or is there a http > proxy/tcp loadbalanc

Thanks you for your email. Yes this is pretty strange for me. Only thing I can suspect it , it saves some data in redis db during routing. But I dont see any issue in that. And it works immediately after restart. I will collect backtrace if issue happens again and will share here. On Wed, Mar 1,

Hello, 5.5.3 is a bit old, soon 5.5.6 will be out, but it is from 5.5.x series which is still maintained and I do not remember any recent fix that would be related to such behaviour. Anyhow, as you say it works fine for weeks and the behaviour is quite strange, can you relate it to some external

Hello, are the endpoints connecting directly to Kamailio, or is there a http proxy/tcp loadbalancer in front? It is pretty unlikely another endpoint to get same source ip and port, unless is a middle proxy that reuses the connection. I met the latter case in the past, but not the former. Cheers,

Hello, better take the latest one, e.g. 5.6.4 released yesterday. Minor releases only contains bugfixes, documentation enhancements and similar. Only rarely regressions happen. But you should of course test it. Cheers, Henning -Original Message- From: Muhammad Danish Moosa Sent: Mit
