Hello Henning,
Thank you, will keep digging...
Dialog does work now, so priority is a bit lower.

Hello Kamailions,
Well, I think I found the cause of my issue where the Dialog profile was
not defined.. Well it was.
I had not enabled antiflood, by not enabling antiflood, the htable
module was also not loaded...
I guess the us of profiles_with_value parameter needs htable? Is that
Thank you Joel for the tip.
But that is also not it.
I tried of course, but when you look at the Dialog module documentation
is says:
modparam("dialog", "profiles_with_value", "caller ; my_profile")
So there are spaces in the modparam config for the dialog profiles.
Its just so strange
Thanks again Sergiu,

But the #!define WITH_DIALOG is to choose between loading module

Hello Sergiu,
Thank you for the pointer, the line 1576 is:

That is where Kamailio refuses to start
And as you mentioned my error in the IF statement after correction you
pointed out, Kamailio still refuses on the fact

Hello Gertjan,
if you just want to monitor the dialog count of a user internally in your cfg,
you don't need to use the presence modules. This can
by querying the presentity table, but that wont work to
check if an extension is not in a call due to the expires value an dthe
clean_period
parameters. With extension I mean user..
Thank you.

Hello Kamailions,
I have been able to get the presence configured, subscribers see the status of
their subscriptions, this is working fine, for internal, incoming external and

I'm running into the following challenge.

Users have to login to the system by dialing a special number where they

Should a value presented by an echo command be read by the exec_avp command?

are you sure that the script is executed? You give a relative path and
kamailio changes working directory to / if you don't give -w parameter?
Try with absolute path.

Reading and understanding is a skill in it self.. Learned a bit more of that

Thank you for the feedback, the tip from Daniel helped me pinpoint the

Hello Daniel,
Yes, that are the parameters I've set.
But just found out why the kamcmd uac commands were not working.
Looks like you have to have a succesfull registry to be able to give the
uac.reg_xxx command.
Once I had a succesfull registration, the command works.
So, I will continue
