I was off the list for a number of months, so what I'm writing may have been covered already. If so, sorry for the repetition. Everybody remarks on how strong a steamer the Aster Mikado is. I decided that's certainly true after having run it all winter at temperatures from about 25 to 55 degrees

Hi, After getting steam up, we found that opening the alcohol valve about 22.5 degrees allowed my Mike to pull 8 to 10 cars without popping the safety and with the bypass closed. B. W. Lunkenheimer
