We're using Sitraka Server Views (the same product you mention I think,
they've changed the name a few times since introducing it), works well but
kinda expensive - we've also used Espress Chart from Quadbase successfully

Do an nslookup type=mx for your organization - even if it uses Notes
internally, for others to be able to send inbound mail to you, you must
have a mail exchanger configured, and if so, you should be able to send via
JavaMail to it.
