I believe the book Professional JSP 2 has a chapter devoted to it. I
haven't a clue how good / bad it is.
If you look on the struts pages you will see a section for resources that
points at a few tutorials and samples etc. However, there doesn't seem to
be a lot at the moment.

I wrote a chapter on the struts framework in the Professional JSP 2nd Edition
book. Though I don't detail a "cookbook" of what to do I do cover things from
a "use the framework" approach.
