Ok. I've gotten lots of feedback from many people and
have started to incorporate it into the app. I have
also made some bug fixes.

Changes with Struts Console v0.2
*) Changed console.bat to run java from the
%JAVA_HOME%\bin directory
*) Added tool tip
for a
program like this. I am
more comfortable editing a well commented xml
file. But everbody is
different and many people might find this very
useful. It looks like
you have done a very nice job so far - keep up
the good work!

time working with
the DTD now I can see there are some changes that
would be nice.
Is workflow supposed to be part of Struts 1.1? 1.1
timeframe?

This is most likely happening because you don't have a
DOCTYPE specified in your config file. This is
necessary because Struts uses a validating xml parser.
Put the following line at the top of your config file
and you should be all set.
!DOCTYPE struts-config PUBLIC -//Apache Software
The latest and greatest Struts Console is ready. I
have fixed some bugs and added some more
functionality. Most notably there is now the ability
to sort the table columns. Lots of people asked for
this. I also added the notion of an Editor and
Source view. This way you can see (in the Source
references (includes) by any
chance?
I ask because I am having trouble getting this to
work.
Thanks,
Vaughan.

I have the fix for multiple config files almost
done. I need to create the patch and send out an
email, but in the mean time you can use:
http://www.ejcenter.com/struts/ActionServlet.java
Just recompile the 1.0 source with the above file and
then in your web.xml file you can use a comma (,)
Done. Please reference the message titled [PATCH]

I am working on a patch for Struts to allow multiple
config files and application resource files to be
used. This would allow the application to be more
modularized and would solve the problem/complaint of
very large unmanageable config files.

I would take a look into the NetBeans project
(NetBeans.org) or Sun's Forte Community Edition (based
off of NetBeans). These are both great IDEs and are
free to use.
I will also be releasing a new version of the Struts
Console that plugs into NetBeans and Sun Forte very
soon. This
