Willem,
These videos are excellent. I'm impressed. I can only imagine how much
effort you've put into this. Knowing the work that goes into this, I'm a
bit reluctant to suggest any changes, but at some risk, here I go:
* Video #1. You mention early on that Subsurface has already been

Items that work:
* edits to notes page. I tried adding or changing fields, adding notes,
stars, etc
* manually added tanks and tank switches to a dive
* changed a dive duration
* added 2 different weight types

Sorry, that got sent. Here's the test plan
* open subsurface
* select the filter button. If your screen immediately shows the
Subsurface main menu (including dive list, dive management, location,
settings), then you have the bug I was referring to.
* filter your dives with some text string

I tested iOS 3.0.2 (4.9.3.1259). This is behind one version from some of
Dirk's descriptions, but it is the latest version I have access to. I
definitely see the improvements.
(1) filter now works as planned - the filter entry is visible on first tap
(2) edited a dive from a filtered dive list
I've tested 3.0.2 (4.9.3.1277) on iOS, on an iPhone6 (small screen).
Very good is my overall comment, and I'd release it as is.
W.r.t. the statistics (Dive Summary), one thing I've noticed is that the
selection buttons on the top are too large for my phone in portrait mode.
I've tried with

Testing 3.0.2 (4.9.3.1287) on iOS.
* keyboard now shows reliably when turning on a filter
* repeated tests that edit a dive that's been filtered
* added a dive. A new dive number was assigned, eg dive #308. I'll call
this dive 'A'
* marked it as invalid. This is clearly visible by the
yes, and I did edit the dive number to once I discovered this. I purposely
renumbered it to something out of sequence. In my case, I renumbered to
dive#10, and then re-edited to dive#999 just to prove this to myself.

Sorry for the late reply. My testing is with a 4-year old iPhone (iPhone
6). So it isn't due to the new 'no button' phone, nor of a super dense
pixel count screen.
I tried re-sizing the font, hoping that would change things, but of course
this doesn't change the size of the menus or buttons at
Hold off a bit. Immediately after posting this, I closed Subsurfce,
restarted with the idea of creating a log report, and I can't reproduce the
issue. Cancel works quite well. Scratching my head.

I tested download from a Shearwater Teric to Subsurface Mobile 4.9.3.1486.
This worked as expected.
I tried downloading from the Teric to Subsurface on a Lenovo with Windows
10 using 4.9.3-1489. The download fails (I've attached a log). I tried
the same thing on a different laptop, a
I've done some basic checks on the latest iOS build.
* loading a local file
* syncing with cloud
* edits, undo, redo (1 level only)
* save back to cloud
* restart app, reload from cloud to confirm changes
All looks good. I'm probably not the best tester for this release because

I'm continuing to look at 4.9.3 on windows 10. No repeatable issues so
far. I'm trying to reproduce one crash, but haven't been successful.
* good job on undo/redo functions
* I like the general tab re-arrangement. I know that's been like that for
a while, but when walking through a lot of

I"ve attached 3 graphs showing the statistics summary. Once again I showed
them to a work colleague. He found the upper 2 graphs easiest to
understand.

I downloaded the latest ci-release for windows and started testing on
Windows10.
I'm able to download from the cloud, but I cannot save to the cloud. I
keep failing at the beginning of the transfer (transferring 0/9... and then
it fails). I've tried this numerous times over the last few

I've been away from testing for months. I just downloaded the new iOS
release with an early view of the statistics. I'll check it out properly,
but the initial impressions are excellent. Very usable on my iPhone6
running iOS 12.5.1. I played around with a variety of views, binning.

On iphone 13 mini running iOS 16.5, I downloaded 5.0.10.177. I tried the
following features with nothing to report
* no issues with install
* no issues downloading/uploading to cloud
* switched to a different user
* edited a dive
* filtered dives with different tags

I've done some rudimentary testing on my iphone 13 mini running iOS
17.1.2. No issues, but I haven't tried downloading from a dive computer
yet.
* loaded from the cloud
* edited a dive
* uploaded back to the cloud
* viewed some existing dives in landscape & portrait mode.
