No connection app malfunction

2018-05-14 Thread Miodrag Adamovic
One thing I have noticed is that if you open Subsurface without internet
connection it will pop to credentials screen(showing "local dive data loaded"
tab in the bottom). If I click on "no cloud mode" app crashes. When opened
again, dive list is empty. When opened with internet connection, dive list is
empty and you have to go to settings and enter credentials again. This is on
Note 8 with Android 8.0.0

Re: New Android beta

2018-03-13 Thread Miodrag Adamovic
Works on Note 8. Maybe you could put some sort of marker overlay,so you could
put location more precisely.

Re: Problem with Plan (addition of time)

2018-02-19 Thread Miodrag Adamovic
I think his problem is that segment times are rounded, but total runtime is
calculated with real segment times. Switch to verbatim dive plan and you'll see
what I am talking about

Re: BlueTooth issue on Subsurface Mobile

2017-10-10 Thread Miodrag Adamovic
It's Samsung S5, official Android. Like I said, I had this problem before,
I did a phone wipe in recovery mode and, voila, it worked. Not even nRF app
required.
One thing I have noticed, every device with Android 6.0.1 had problems. Any
device with straight Android 6 worked OK. BTW, nRF connects OK every time.

It's completely same log entry for me, except language. Not willing to wipe out
my phone this time,so I guess I'll just have to wait.

Here are the first few lines of the log...
"0.002: Starting Subsurface-mobile:2.0(4.6.4.961):Android Marshmallow
(6.0):arm:en-US""0.002: build with Qt Version 5.9.1, runtime from Qt Version
5.9.1"localBtDevice isn't valid
Clearly we don't get access to the local Bluetooth device. Typical reasons for
that are a) BT turned off b) the host is not connectable (I have never seen
this) or c) the app has no access to Bluetooth. On standard Android, apps do not
need to request special permission to access BT (we ask for location and
storage access). I wonder if this is different in your flavor of Android? You
mention "giving permission", so that makes me wonder if there's something
different from what we normally see on Android and if we need to do something
on the Subsurface-mobile side to set that up.
Which phone do you have?

Can you send us the subsurface.log file (it's in the root of your local storage
device on Android)? This will hopefully shed some light on the problem...

Re: Subsurface mobile 2 BTLE broken

Yep, even did cache vipe for the phone. It is some problem between
Subsurface and Android, since Shearwater cloud works OK, even without nRF
installed.
Application log states:
"0.000 build with Qt version 5.9.1, runtime from Qt version 5.9.1"
localBtDevice isn't valid

managed to solve problem by wiping my phone and it worked great after that.

Re: who has BLE dive computers - which one, which OSs can you test

2017-09-19 Thread Miodrag Adamovic
Hi, I have non-AI Perdix.
Can test on WIN 10 CE, works just fine with Shearwater desktop and on
Samsung S5 with Android 6.0.1. where it does not work at all. nRF app
connects and bonds OK, but Subsurface always say BT is not enabled. Glad if
I can help
Edited to add: just installed apps on my sons tablet and it works great.
