Thanks for the previous help in getting sugar-jhbuild updating from the correct git repository. I've now got a successful install (this involved upgrading to Ubuntu 8.10 and installing some additional packages not listed on the wiki -- I've added them now). Running './sugar-jhbuild run' brings up

Hi I'm following the instructions at http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Sugar_with_sugar-jhbuild to checkout sugar for the first time. git-clone and git-pull worked fine, but now I get this error consistently: ~/foreign/sugar-jhbuild% ./sugar-jhbuild update Initialized empty Git repository in /home/alex/
