I downloaded the image and installed on my XO-1.
The general appearance and operation are very nice.
Some issues I had:
(1) the Browse activity did not load---just lots of
blinking of the startup screen, no error logs
by default. I do see errors about missing gtk

it is nice to see the development continued.
However, it seems that the OLPC layoffs and refocus
has scuttled the work to complete some OS and system
software support for the XO-1 hardware features.
