For what it is worth, with two XO-1 running 802, and two XO-1.5 running
os54, a network created by one of the os54 units does not show on the
neighbourhood view of the two 802 units, though it does show on the
other os54, and is included in the "iwlist eth0 scan" output on the

That's not the build number. `cat /boot/olpc_build ` will give you the
build number. This stuff is under heavy development, so if you are
using an old build your bug reports are not very useful -- see he
Hi,

But yes, the laptop running SOAS was able to detect this network, but it
couldn't join the network.

Hi Daniel,
There wasn't any error message.
I was doing the testing with two XO's one was having XO 1.5 having F11, and
another was XO 1 running build 767 (8.2.0).
I noticed the following issues:
- They both were not able to detect each other.
- Although they were able to detect other networ

When trying to collaborate between 1.5 and 1.0, the way to make it work is:
1 - On the 1.5, use the 'create new network' option, which should
appear in the frame.
2 - On the XO

FoodForce2 activity, but it failed. But later i realized that they were not
even able to detect each other. Even other activities (I tried Chat
