Hi,
To share between XO-1s and XO-1.5s you have to use Ad-hoc networks. You
can
create one by using the option in the frame wireless device.
Could you please explain that in detail?
Thanks!

Hi,
I was discussing here about using Telepathy Framework with DBus bindings i.e
collaboration on XO's using C#.
If I am able to do that, will the solution be the same for Mesh networking
and Ad-hoc networking or would I have to concentrate on any one of them
first?

The XO 1 laptop shows a yellow dot

Harpreet,
you've got the build details backwards. 201 customised is XO-1.5,
and 802 is for XO-1.

Beacons and Probe Requests / Responses are used to discover neighbors?
because I thought they did this by RREQ?

Yes. All of the Telepathy protocols require that there be a working local
network
The telepathy-salut connection works on the basis of Avahi (sometimes
called Bonjour) Sometimes also called local-xmpp, and telepathy itself
creates the connections by selecting the connection manager via
Mission control through a dbus method called RequestConnection Salut
is kind of an untrusted
The actual mesh connection is done on a
hardware level though and is totally unique to the XO as in no other
laptop that I know of has working mesh network capable cards.
It is my understanding (but I might be wrong) that the XO's wireless card
implements 802.11s in hardware.

But i can't join all this information and understand how one XO can see
another XO in its neighbourhood.
I hope you can
