Folks, Bernie has been gently pushing me to revive some of my older security work. To that end, we've pushed the first versions of rainbow-0.8.x into Ubuntu [1] and Fedora [2], rebased the necessary sugar patches [3], and rewritten my sys_disablenetwork() attempt into cool new RLIMIT_NETWORK code [4].
Be warned -- this code is really, really raw, full of bugs, may eat babies, etc. It's almost certainly going to change around a bit in the foreseeable future. However, it's definitely worth glancing at, both for review purposes, to help round off rough edges, and to get it closer to shippability in all your favorite distros. Thanks in advance for your interest, support, and assistance in making this real. :) Regards, Michael [1]: https://launchpad.net/~codewiz/+archive [2]: rainbow-0.8.x pushed into rawhide a few days ago [3]: http://dev.laptop.org/git/users/mstone/sugar + http://dev.laptop.org/git/users/mstone/sugar-toolkit [4]: http://dev.laptop.org/git/users/mstone/olpc-2.6 _______________________________________________ Sugar-devel mailing list Sugar-devel@lists.sugarlabs.org http://lists.sugarlabs.org/listinfo/sugar-devel
