I believe that abstracting the x11 dependency will be beneficial beyond
Broadway. It will help us when we move to Wayland for example.

ask Sebastian about it. Got surprised to see this thread :)
As Sebastian mentioned, it failed with segmentation fault. I then though of
first applying Sebastian's patch to try it again before discussing it.

If you haven't heard of broadway, its a part of the GTK+3 project that
allows interacting with GTK+3 applications through a browser, using
VNC-style techniques. It seems this might be an interesting alternative to
