If I understand you correctly, you have installed a) sugar-jhbuild _and_ b) native Ubuntu packages for Sugar.I definitely recommend against doing this, mixing core Sugar packages (as the Ubuntu activity packages will depend on the Ubuntu Glucose packages) is asking for trouble.
