Hold on, I'll try launching it by login in to Sugar directly and report back.
Yep, I logged out, chose Sugar instead of Gnome at the login, and
Dr.Geo launches fine! And it looks greatly improved, especially at the
UI.
So it just doesn't seem to run when launched within sugar-emulator.
