Re: [Sugar-devel] Sugarizer Story Activity Proposal Review
Hi, I have added the implementation of the editor in detail in my proposal and added it as a Draft on the GSoC dashboard. Can you please review it and give your valuable opinion on how can I improve it. Please let me know if you have any questions. I have gone through the existing API to access Abecedarium content, we can use that also for Abecedarium images in Story but in Story activity, we only need the data from database/db_en.json so I thought to make another single XMLHTTPRequest from Story which we can use for other content also (other than abecedarium) Kindly give your views on the updated draft proposal. Re: [Sugar-devel] Sugarizer Story Activity
Thank you Lionel Sir for clarification. I also had the alternative in my mind that we can leverage the write activity and remove unnecessary formatting features to make it simple and then change the CSS properties to give it the look of Story Activity. I had already made some changes here :- https://github.com/aditya113141/sugarizer/tree/Use_Write I will continue the work on it. ___ Sugar-devel mailing list Sugar-devel@lists.sugarlabs.org http://lists.sugarlabs.org/listinfo/sugar-devel
Re: [Sugar-devel] Sugarizer Story activity
You have right to use third-party components in Sugarizer activities. BTW I'm not sure we need to provide a Text Editor in Story activity. It will complexify the activity. Sugarizer includes already the Write activity to format text. Maybe we could provide a bridge between Story and Write activity. Regards.
