I have placed the detectors on edges and gave permission on sumocfg and
netccfg files. When I ran the simulation, I did not see the detectors on
SUMO-GUI. I do not understand what the issue is.
Any suggestions?

This is a visualization bug in netedit. (
https://github.com/eclipse/sumo/issues/8693)
The detectors will work in the expected direction and look correct in
sumo-gui.
