Hello All,
I am trying SUMO calibrator to import arterial vehicle counts into SUMO. I
followed the instructions in "Building a scenario without knowledge of routes,
based on flow measurements":
http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Simulation/Calibrator
I generated file calibrator.add.xml without route

appreciate it!This is just
an unrelated question but how should I write the xml part so that it wouldn't
cause an inconvenience like that any more?
Thank you for your patience and your time.Best regards,Nguyen

Hi All,
I created a additional xml file and a definition reroute file for rerouting
purpose but the simulation doesn't work. Cars only finish their routes from
generated route file and disappear. May I ask if there is anything wrong with
the files that I created?

Dear All,
I use reroute and choosing a new route option to keep the total number of cars
constant. However, regarding the id of a new route to assign; the id must be
the id of a previously loaded route. Is there any way that I can create other
routes besides only loaded route?
Thank you.Best
Dear All,
I want to create a simulation such that vehicles after coming to their
destinations will wait for a random period of time and then select a new route
in the route files. How can I make the vehicles pausing after coming to the
destinations?
Thank you.Best regards,Nguyen
Hi All,
It is known that I can use reroutes to pick up a new destination once I get to
the end of the trip; but the problem is that I generated my network from a
given OD matrix, so it's like adding one more trip. Will that have an influence
on OD statistics? Moreover, I want to ask if the trip
Hi All,
When I use OD2Trips and duarouters to generate paths, are they shortest paths?
I tested with a grid network but it seemed that they don't look like shortest
paths..
Thank you. Best regards,Nguyen

Hi all,
I have to use rerouters to keep number of cars constant in SUMO:
http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Simulation/Rerouter
But which edge that I should use to put the rerouter? Do I need to put rerouter
on all of boundary edges?
Thank you.Best regards,Nguyen
Hi all,
I generated a grid network and provided an OD matrix to run the simulation.
When the edge speed is at default (13.9ms), the simulation goes fine, but when
I increase the speed or simulation time step, it keeps generating collisions.
Is there any ways to get rid of these collisions?
Hi all,
I generated a simulation with OD matrix input (from time 0.00 to time 1.00),
and simulation time from 0 to 86400 (in command line). However, the generated
output trace only contains information from 0 o roughly 3800 and then there's
no other vehicles generated. Do you know what I should
(if these are identical you can
put the 'edges' attribute directly in the taz element. see
