Opposite page 63 in _Sundials_ (2nd Edition), by Mayall and Mayall, there's a (not very clear, alas) photo of a 24-hour dial. This one is in Thule, Greenland, latitude 76.6 N. A so-called equatorial dial would make a dandy, easy-to-design 24-hour sundial.
