the same area of the sky, after slowing to a halt? Are there lunastices,
then? If so, how do they correspond to the solstices!

a similar
analemma in a single (lunar) month. As the moon takes 24h51m28s
to transit the meridian *as an average*, some of its transits would happen
at daytime and the moon won't be seen, so the lunar analemma can't be
complete, but do you know of somebody having tried to take this picture
