Version 5.4 is free to download:

Even though you need a support contract for 5.4.4, I think for home use
there is not so much difference.

When I worked for Sun I had a VBox Solaris 10 instance running SRSS that I 
would use to demo the software. It works fine. Probably need to use bridged 
networking.

I loved my Sun Rays but took them off my desk at home when Oracle discontinued. 
 I just discovered that the Server Software has (recently) reved and I noticed 
it looks like the server software will run as a Virtual Box guest.

Is that correct, will SRSS run on in Vbox?  Can someone explain how to buy a 
license for it so I can download it?
