I've decided to dedicate an old PC as a freenet node, and I'd like to get it optimized the best I can, given its resources. It is a Celeron 400 with 640MB RAM running XP. The problem I see is a lot of disk access. About every second, the drive thrashes. I've read the posts on upping the VM to
