running. Do you have any icons of freenet visible in the tray? If 
none then do a ctrl-alt-del and and check for anything that resembles freenet 
and delete them from Windows Task Manager. Exit Windows Task Manager and 
try deleting the freenet Folder.

[freenet-support] Uninstalling Freenet

I'm too much a beginner. I want to uninstall Freenet and leave it to the 
experts. I'm running Windows XP with substantially more than the minimum system 
requirements. I haven't succeeded in getting my installation up and running. 
However, Freenet isn't even listed on the Add/Remove page, and the folder in 
which all the files are stored cannot be deleted.
