I've uploaded a patch to fproxy at SSK@hNO8nRj~jh8X2zrebLAXuybO3g4PAgM/progs/fproxy-encoding.patch It adds support for content encodings to fproxy. If you insert a file and specify a Info.Encoding field in the metadata, fproxy will pass this on to your browser, allowing transparent description
