[freenet-support] please help me with error messages and multihomed computer
Hi, I hope experts can help me on two questions: (1) When I insert files with manifest.jar I often see the screen with "RESTARTED: Waiting up to 732 seconds before time out" And in the log file I see (and I think the two are related): Authentication timed out Return to null failed on no more references Would you please let me know what is going on? (2) I have a multihomed computer which runs a webserver and a freenet node. I would like to have the freenet node listen to only one IP. Is it enough to put in freenet.ini nodeAddress=my.ip.for.fn:myport Thank you. Peter _ Do You Yahoo!? Thanks. The files are inserted under the same MSK@SSK@ key Does this make the keys "similar"? If not, I think the similarity judgement is quite natural. You would expect the same site from the same source, right? Regards, Peter. _ Do You Yahoo!? [freenet-support] RE: SLOW!!! Why two nodes does not learn each other
BTW, this is the error in the log file: Authentication timed out Client object signalled: Freenet.KeyException: Couldn't read MSK Mapfile: SSK@z~K65pjGmzBU8rlD7rzu9NoYecsQAgE/freegle What authentication is this? How to avoid this kind of time out? [freenet-support] SLOW!!! Why two nodes does not learn each other
Hi, I recently have a lot of problems with (for example) Network Error Couldn't retrieve key: MSK@SSK@z~K65pjGmzBU8rlD7rzu9NoYecsQAgE/freegle// Today, I put two nodes on two computers on the same subnet. I inserted a dozen files on one computer (with htl=50) and try to retrieve them from the other (via fproxy). The files are inserted under the same MSK@SSK@ key About 80% of the time I get "Network Error Couldn't retrieve key" It seems that the two nodes never learn the existance of each other. So after I successfully retrive one file from my othor node, the rest of the files are still slow! I do not think it is supposed to be like this. Would you please let me know what is going on?
