Yes, in Uninstaller/Uninstaller.jar IIRC. Let me know if you have any problems.

well, technically Limewire is a distributed data
store. And you can build a site using magnet links,
it's just that you make page 1 and get the md5 hash
for that and include a link to page 1 on page 2; but
then you get a md5 hash for page 2 and try putting
that link in page 1 and all of sudden the link on page
2 to page 1 no longer works. So you can have a
website distributed via Limewire, it just will have
horrible navigation... though I'm still interested
in finding a way around this (I can't find good
sources for learning about xlink or xqueary note:
I might be overly optimistic, but I'm not stupid :P )

It depends what you want it for. If you have specific bugs to report,
features you would like, or problems with freenet, we would like to
know. If you don't want to use freenet, please unsubscribe using the
link provided at the end of each mail to support, and please have
another look when 0.7.0 is released. Thank you.

You do realise that freenet and limewire are not trying to solve the
same problem, right?

Freenet is trying to do highly annonymous communication and publishing.

Limewire is trying to do fast and not nearly(I'm not even sure if they
try to) as annonymous filesharing.

[freenet-support] Uninstaller Doesn't Work

2006-09-02 Thread Ian Macdonald
Hi,

I'm not sure how to access any other support other
than emailing - so here goes.

I am trying to uninstall freenet - but it doesn't seem
to work - the uninstaller comes up, but when I press
"Uninstall" nothing happens.

Is there a fix for this, or a way I can manually
uninstall everything?

Thanks,
Ian
