[freenet-support] RAM bandwidth

I posted earlier today a commendation to the Toadster for
v.5095.  
That still stands, but...
1)521 megs of resident memory for Java?  This is a definite
strain on my
system.  
Can freenet be made to not conscript so much ram?
2)My bandwidth usage goes wild.  I share a DSL connection with
my wife
and sometimes
her connection is choked off and I have to shut down freenet
just so she
can
check her email.  This does indeed make her an unhappy
camper/companion.
Any help for these freenet maladies?

Are you sure that's resident and not virtual? It's pretty absurd if it's
resident.. how much does the node think it's using (Environment page)?

Hmmm. Did you set the bandwidth limit too high? What's your
outputBandwidthLimit? What's your DSL connection's uplink bandwidth?
