The log file is filling the drive with this "Consecutive same winner" error and CPU load is close to 100%. After a while, CPU load returns to normal and the error also goes away. However, in the 4 hours since I restarted freenet it has already created a 2 GB log file. (is there a way to limit the size of the log file?) Well, surprisingly enough, that indicates an error. :) Did you have 100% CPU usage throughout that period? That is the usual cause... Well, I also get a large log file (about 100 MB/hour) with the log level set to Error. The repeated error is "Consecutive same winner". I did a grep -c for this error and in a 750 MB log file there were 725549 occurrences. I'm running winxp and 5104. -- Jan ___ Support mailing list Support@freenetproject.org http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.freenet.support Unsubscribe at http://dodo.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support Or mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hmmm. If you get a big one, you're probably getting repeated error messages... it would be interesting to know what they say. My node was up for about a week when the log got to that size, I have since reinstalled and the new node has been active for approximately 10-15 hours. The new log file is ~10MB.
