Well, to change your IP, you would have to be disconnected, I think. When playing a game online, do you have problems ... well ... playing it ... Or with some other kind of streaming software?   It might be that your ISP changes the IP on reconnect. Then check if your connection just disconn

I've just discovered that my DSL connection gets a new IP address on the order of every couple of minutes. I don't know if it's because of my pppoe setup or because of SBC, but I think that is what has been causing my freenet issues, as the freenet node is being MASQ'ed behind the firewall machine
