[SHR Unstable] Copy + Paste?
Hi there, even though I searched the forums/the www, I couldn't find a working way to copy+paste in SHR Unstable. One post by Rasterman suggested that you could open a copy+paste menu by pressing and holding the input device (stylus/finger) for about a second, however that did not work for me at all, neither in the terminal application that comes with SHR Unstable nor in any other program. Is copy and paste not implemented in SHR, or did I do something fundamentally wrong? :) Regards, Konstantin ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support
[SHR-Testing] No GSM anymore :(
Hello again, a few hours ago, the GSM on my freerunner ceased to work. Using shr-testing, I was used to restarting every now and then because the the gsm subsystem doesn't work after some time/calls, but after the last restart, I don't even get the pin entry dialog anymore. Multiple restarts and trying to wiggle around the SIM card in case it is a mechanical/electrical problem didn't help. The phone settings (settings program, section phone) tells me it can't connect to dbus, and ophonekitd is not running and prompts me to start it (which appearently doesn't work, either), and the result of dmesg is a torrent of modem wakeup interrupt messages. Any ideas on what might be wrong or what I could try for a remedy or at least to locate the source of the problem? Re: [FDOM, 2008.9] USB not working after suspend/resume-cycle [FIXED]
The only thing that helped was removing and reloading the ohci_hcd module, but that obviously only works with a kernel which has this one built as a module. Somebody on some list said that doing an lsusb fixed it for him. I've not even tried USB host mode myself. Brilliant - works like a charm! The moment I start lsusb, the keyboard LEDs light up and I can use the device normally, just like that. Thanks a lot! I'll just add lsusb to my usbhostmode.sh script now. :) Marcos Regards, Konstantin ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support

But the redirect normaly is a setup of the phone company, and u can change it by typing in GSM-Codes into the dialer application. for a complete deactivating use : #61# for setting a delay of 5s to 30s use : **61*your phonenumber*11*time# cu btw: here is a site (German) with a few gsm-codes : http://www.gsmsite.de/codes.htm Great, thank you very much - that did the trick for me. :) Regards, Konstantin ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support
